Duane Michael Marusarz

Born in Central New York finger lakes area living and working in KC, Missouri since 1978.

Husband, Father, and Papa are his greatest accomplishments. Duane worked as a public servant for over 30 years. Created lasting art for 50 years.

He works in mixed media and currently is creating acrylic textured paintings on canvas and wood panel. Practices and enjoys many forms of Art.

His current inspiration is working within acrylic paints abstract distances and rhythm through deep and textured finishes that can be seen through his pieces. Duane enjoys taking you on a journey throughout his work.

Duane attended Dundee Central school in Central New York  where he took industrial arts classes through high school.

He is self-taught and always evolving as an artist with many new ideas. Using his many experiences to influence his work.

He created many works throughout his artistic journey, and he continues to donate his work to nonprofit fund raisers.
